Built to be checked, not trusted.
MultiValidator is an email verification service that shows its work. This page is where we say what we believe — and what we refuse to claim.
Methods, not marketing
Every verdict on this site names the check that produced it. If we can't explain a result in one sentence, we don't ship it.
Auditable by default
Every API response carries the stage results and the reason. Re-run any row and compare — verification should stand up to scrutiny.
Limits in writing
Catch-all servers, greylisting, Gmail throttling: our known blind spots are documented on this site, not discovered in your metrics.
Small, by choice
We're a small team shipping email infrastructure. Small means we can keep publishing the hard answers instead of press releases.
The stance, unspun.
Email verification is usually sold on guarantees that can't survive contact with a real mailbox: accuracy numbers nobody can audit, deliverability promises built on someone else's filters.
We sell checks instead. A check is either done or it isn't; a reason is either attached or it's not. That's the whole product — and we'd rather you call us out when a verdict is wrong than when a slogan is vague.
Where we can't know, we say unknown. It's a worse demo and a better tool.
Questions, complaints, corrections — hello@multivalidator.io. We answer.
How we build.
The pipeline is a product of process — four rules that keep the engine honest when nobody is looking at the marketing site.
Stages before score
The score is computed from the stage outcomes — never the other way around. If a stage can't report a reason, it doesn't get to vote.
Reasons are test fixtures
Every reason code has a fixture with a real (or faithfully simulated) server response behind it. A reason that ships without a fixture doesn't ship.
Regressions over releases
When a provider changes behavior and a verdict flips, that becomes a permanent test — not a footnote in a changelog.
Public limits list
The limits on the product page are reviewed whenever the pipeline changes. If a new blind spot appears, it gets documented before it gets marketed around.
What we'll never publish
“99.6% accuracy” — a number no verifier can prove on your list.
“Guaranteed deliverability” — a bounce depends on the receiver that day.
“Free forever” on a paid tier — the free plan is 100 checks a month, in writing.
Fabricated benchmarks against competitors — the comparison table cites documented behavior only.
Stop mailing ghosts.
